Strata acquires company
Strata Leadership LLC, a leadership development company based in Oklahoma City, said Thursday that its principals, Nathan Mellor and Frank Smith together with Strata Vice President Lyn Watson, have acquired Mosaic Personnel.
Founded in 1998, Mosaic Personnel Inc. is a specialty recruiting firm for professionals in IT, engineering, accounting and human resources. The acquisition was effective Jan. 1.
“Since founding Mosaic Personnel almost 20 years ago, we have built a company that enjoys an outstanding reputation of excellence in its field, has garnered numerous awards for strong ethical standards and best practices, and is considered to be one of the best places to work in Oklahoma City. I am so pleased that a company of Strata Leadership’s stature has acquired the company,” said Pam Fountain-Wilks, former owner of Mosaic Personnel Inc.
Nathan Mellor, who will serve as CEO of Mosaic Personnel, said the purchase will provide Strata Leadership the ability to meet a strategic need for companies the organization serves.
Mosaic Personnel Inc. has an full-time staff of about 15 recruiters and support staff, together with a growing number of contract employees, currently 58, who fulfill staffing needs for clients. Strata Leadership employs a team of 16 full-time employees consisting of content experts, executive coaches, trainers and administrative support.
Strata’s services include cultural analyses, assessments, executive coaching, training programs, strategic planning and the Character Core system. Strata is also home to the Academy of Sports and Character, Character First Education, and the Institute for Emerging Leaders.
Strata Leadership and Mosaic Personnel are both at 11600 Broadway Extension Service Road, Suite 220, in Oklahoma City.
